Speed Painting!

"Blues in C Minor"oil on board 4'x6' (121.92 cm x 182.88 cm) One week of painting sped in less than 5 minutes. 
It's amazing to watch everything come together with fast motion video. Many times I think to myself, "I have know idea what I'm doing," but somehow it works out. Sometimes I'm happier with the intended results than others. (I did have intentions going into this painting.) Watching this video it amazes me what can be accomplished with 'slight-of-hand,' paints, brush strokes, and placement of colors. We humans are a very creative bunch!

From Run-to-Paint session. Oil on board. "Aquilegia Explosion, NM." 36x24. The Stats: Elevation: 12,000', calories burned 4823, miles ran, 10, steps 2120, a ton of sweat, 100 lbs pack back weight, a lot of paint; Joy quotient: 110! Purchased the painting here. Watch the video here.

This was one of the most challenging run-to-paint sessions that I've tackled to date. The pack was extremely heavy and the altitude and pitch of the trail were very steep. Nevertheless, the above painting was created and two days in the wilderness was worth the struggle.

do just that. The question is how well we can direct and 
measure it to provide responsible therapy that changes real
